Chris Frape

Chris Frape has made a lot of noise. He was noisy in the nineties with indie band Sneaker and turned up the volume through hip-hop crews Circle Massive, Outlanders and Papercut. He also got loud in Sydneysiders ears co-hosting a hip-hop show on Sydney radio station 2sers. All this musicaling about got mixed up in his other love-photography. He worked for various publications shooting The Sex Pistols, Jesus Lizard, Fugazi, Crowded House, Garbage, and a bucket load more. Now Chris musically moves between running a deejaying Sydney Sunny Sunday afternoon bowls n' beats event 'Shades of Green' and playing bass for his yet to be named new band. And the happy snaps? 20 years of live music photography both homegrown and international continues with Chris annually photographing for Peat’s Ridge Festival and anyone else whom he can point a lens at.

Chris' mistress is the Ocean.
